Hello to everyone, Im really new to the gosu clan/player thing since for 3 years i've played mostly 4s in rt. Iknow it doesnt require much micro and stuff and blah blah blah, but i quit today when i lost to NOT 1, BUT 2 ACOLYTES MASSER!!!!!!!!!!!. I also play 2s with my colombian friend (flamebat_clan) but i want to start playing some solo. Another friend, told me something that i think its very accurate, guys like grubby, lucifer (though normaly ud) and bera are GOSU orc players; thats another understnading of the game , uber micro, and an insane use of the keyboard and hotkeys (i know most of em and use the groups thingy but im not that good), which of course i dont have. Also those guys have seen it all (strats), and know how to counter those things, and they make strat i'd call noobish WORK (although for these guys im a noob, i think im now mediocre).
Ok, after the 'brief' introduction, i'd like to ask any kind guy, for like the basics of orc vs any matchup in solo (i went from an extreme to the other, hehe), or if some1 has a guide to play orc for mediocre-acceptable players, id really apreciate it, or if any1 plz on azeroth plz contact me to this same name, also if any1 really pities me and knows what is like to lose to 2 mass acos due to UBER NOOB allies my e-mail is bdlpv@hotmail.com for any tips or replays to watch and learn in solo. I will watch all the replays of lucy (orc), grubby and bera that i can, but any help or tip is greatly appreciated, THX, mephiztopheles.

Well, i dont know if it would help you if i would try to explain basic strategies. But when i was a noob, watching replays really helped me.
So i can recommend you to watch replays of the following sites: http://www.replayers.com http://www.wc3l.com http://www.meetyourmakers.com (<= top site ;P) http://www.wcreplays.com/ But if you have any specific problem, ask again. There are alot of really helpful people on this site.

The pages he gave you aint bad as communety pages, but to get the best and most replay's go to this page. And there are only 2 ways to get better at solo, I mean when your a beginer. Loose 50 games and win 1, and the eventually raise up from that, or just copycat strats from replay's and then work on them your self. GL!

#1 http://www.meetyourmakers.com (<= top site ;P) hehe i agree
![]() Well you want to play orc, then you should watch replays of: Grubby, Bera, FarSeer and some of the chinese players like XiaOt or HackerFly100% To download the replays, you should visit replays.net,replayers.com or the mym replay center, where you can find replays of the different players. But if you have special questions about what to do against what or something else, then ask here. I think, here are enough people, who can and want to help you

I play orc myself, and ill tell you this. If you have bad nerves and easily get frustrated over imbalance, dont start playing orc

if that is the case, dont start playing warcraft 3. because it will only become more frustration the harder you try and fail. IMBALANCE!!!

Ty all very much for the sites and the imba and nerves thing. I've watched over 40 replays ( even in class time lol). I havent slept, cuz i took some notes of what i saw mos of the times, plz correct me if im wrong: its preferable to get either bm or fs first and go harass or get lvl 2 really fast and then go harass.
Orcs should pressure all the time Tech ethier really fast, but with a solid economy, or hit t2 be4 u get 3rd grunt and stay there 4 most of the game. Grunt with bs, raiders with ensnare and walkers (adept) are main force, with maybe a demo or kodo if necessary. OR grunts, some raiders and then switch to wyvs and start adding some tauren. If atked and in trouble, make peons receive dmg. Spirit Link is a must. Ok i think thats it when it comes to me, now i've seen humans tend to pawn orcs (which i dun like since i've been orc since Warcfrat I: Orcs & Humans), with ud u should try to pressure them an hit altar be4 they hit t3 for any nasty t3 ud unit that may come, i've seen game's pretty much even until orc lets ud get either destros or frosts. Ne r a thing of perseverance and a lot of micro, when they get archers SoS r needed, when hunts, some grunts to wall and some hhs to FF, sh wards r also good here or FS wolves, i saw demos with SoS do wonders against ne when they start getting dryads and hunts (Yep, u guessed it, most replays i saw where Orc vs Ne). So questions are: What should i do against Human players ( besides praying for them to dc ), how to coutner a mass fiends or mass ghouls rush , a mass hunts atk.I feel like i have to put this so i dont get insulted or anything: What i wrote is based on notes taken during the view of 40 replays of very good orc players, it does not represent by any means, my personal experience or thoughts. Any response to the questions, for that ill be 4ever grateful, THX, Mephiztopheles

Im a sc player,tried m&m strategy with humans,tried cheese mass grunts(i believe it's their name) with orcs,got pissed of by stupid undead that got 2types of workers(lamers) and got bankrupt with elf who are f*** expensivea(those mountain trolls or giants or w.e were a bit 2much for my masters card to pay)
so conclusion-don't play wc3,no matter what u try u'll end up losing your nerves
